One of India’s most iconic monuments, the Gateway of India overlooks the Arabian Sea and stands beside the grand Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Built in 1924 by architect George Wittet, this landmark is the ideal starting point for your Mumbai sightseeing tour.

Optional: Take a ferry ride to the Elephanta Caves (except Mondays). Return ferries run until 5:30 PM.
